PRODUCT REVIEW...Swagbucks

If you are not familiar with Swagbucks you should be! It is a point for search website that pays out points for searches that you perform from their site.

I started a week ago today and so far I have almost 300 points that I can trade in for all sorts of stuff. Things like kids clothes, video games and even gift cards.

I am working on an Amazon gift card right now. Sure the points can be a little high but for all of the searching I do I feel it is worth it to get a free card in a month for about five to six searches a day.

It is free to join and participate. And if you a couple of minutes each day to search for things you can rake in pretty quickly.

They also have the normal pay for surveys and tasks that can be time consuming. But to be honest I don't feel the need to complete offers or surveys. This is just something to get a little ahead not a job that HAVE to do.

Here is the linkage for you to play...

BACK TO BLOGGIN' AND MY DAYBOOK

I took a looonnnggg break from blogging and now I am ready to pick it back up and run some more with it. It just kinda gets to the point that there is nothing interesting to report or blog about. So I kinda feel silly repeating myself over and over again.
Hope to do better now that it's spring and the weather is breaking.
For Today… Monday, March 22, 2010

Outside my window... it is chilly, cloudy and rainy. But I am not complaining! I would much rather have sprinkles than snow at this point!

I am thinking... about getting my stuff ready for a yard sale that my mom and I are having

I am thankful for... Josh is over his cold/allergies and able to go to school. Also very thankful that my daughter (who is not really my daughter but my BF's) is getting scholarships left and right for college.
I am wearing... my brown yoga pants and burgundy top. Hoping to walk this evening so more.

I am going... to get my blog up and running again and take care of my eHow account sometime today

I am reading... Myself My Enemy by Jean Plaidy

On my mind... Hoping my nose is dripping due to allergies, getting yard sale stuff together, this week is payday!

Pondering these words... "Life is what you make it"

From the kitchen…Roast with tators, carrots and onions

Around the house... I need to finish up a few tasks that I started and never got back to

One of my favorite things: seeing the grass turn green and the lilies sprout

A few plans for the rest of the week: Continue working on yard sale stuff (surprise there!), work on my stitching some, clean the cellar out

From my picture journal... A picture of "dear daughter" and my son at Winter Formal

What I am working on....now and later...

I have started working on this class kit from Bo Bunny.
This is the first "class kit" that I have purchased and then come home to do. So far it has been super easy. The directions with step by step photos have been great!

And this is my next project. I always do calendars for my friends so they will not be shocked to see it here! lol

This is also from Bo Bunny...
here is the link to their blog if your interested...

I have also been working on a Christmas Survival Kit for the BFF. I want to have this done and together soon because I want to give it to her right after Thanksgiving. (it's a gift so no pix of it yet. :>)
But I am going to include in the kit things like:

Gift tags

Christmas Cards (just a couple of these for last minute needs because she usually does her own fab photo cards)

Shopping list pad

Gift Card holders

If anyone has any suggestions of things I can include I would appreciate it!

Sunday Stitchin....

I usually do a lot of stitching on Sunday's.

The laundry room is in the basement so to save me time from running up and down the stairs, I usually plan on doing my stitching and watching my DVR'd programs in between loads.

I hope to start this today!
So excited....

Oh and I hope to have pix of my Halloween stitching here next week!
